Wow…what a week it has been, so jam packed with delights this season. Blessed with several GOOD animes to watch, and now Santa has decided to give everyone envious of these figures; a run for their money.
First off, we have GSC’s Figma Reimu which is a Japan Exclusive and limited production like those who were able to obtain a Nedo Reimu. Defiantly a get for me, personally…Reimu? No contest…haha. The Figma line has always been popular as an actual “Toy” since the joints are movable, I myself opened my Hatsune Miku Figma and it now sits on my desk in a very cute pose.
Next we have Alter’s Jubei…Which is the prime portion of my rant today… I ordered the Original version, but seriously… Doesnt even come close in comparison. This is solely Exclusive for Hobby Japan DEC Mail-In order for aprox 7000￥ and in very limited run of only 1500. To add insult to injury, they dont ship overseas, but we all know that…haha, But that doesnt stop me from trying my darnest to get it.

LOL. Hi! It’s me from Figure.fm. I kinda already gave up on trying to get one of her, since she’s both a limited and exclusive figure (I already spent enough money on figures…*cry. I’m just gonna have to be happy with regular Yagyu Jubei – Who’s still very very pretty I might add.).
Anyways, the places that’ll try to sell her will easily charge like $250+ USD but, since you’re so intent on getting one, I decided to do some hunting around to find out about Raz’s “proxy service” or whatever he calls it.

You can check his site for other things, and he even has his own ebay account, with rare goodies. Of course, they’re all too pricey, since they are all limited/exclusive stuff. You gotta email him if you’re interested though.
The guy will help you find one, or locate a store for you that might get the figure, but remember, since it’s a lottery item, and limited quantity, he might not be able to find one as well. If anything, you might end up buying one from ebay at 3x the price (which honestly, turned me off, cause even though they say 3x, they normally just mark it up to $300 USD)
Yagyu Jubei… you’re breaking my balls here. I never thought a figure could make me feel so hopeless.
I wonder.. if we send out enough complaints to Alter and Hobby Japan, if they’ll make her a standard figure? Cause, I’m sure a couple thousand unhappy fans might make a difference. If we all threaten to boycott them (lol. Maybe not. Alter’s stuff is too irresistable. If we can at least just get enough people to “pretend to boycott” just maybe….)

I noticed you just got Alter’s Narika and uh… I forget her name, the combat instructor. You should totally take lots of pictures and post them up on your site. I’d love to see all the angles.
